While we are electronically connected on every level, print still comes into play. With respect to the environment, the more we as a business can print on durable materials the better.
Our latest print collateral was a pull-up banner we ordered for our newest offering - Real Time Photography service. It is our first direct-to-client AI offering. Print and AI seem like they have no business in the same space. However, the pull-up helps us share QR codes, which, in turn, leads people to register their faces with the evening’s AI offerings. “What are you talking about?” you may ask. See our Real Time Photography for more information.
Along with our pull-up banner, we ordered vinyl clings to paste on bathroom doors and throughout the event. At the end of the event, we release the pop-up and peel off the clings, preserving them for the next event. Add them to the event packing list, and these communicative pieces ease our project production.
Another way we use sustainable print material is with our partnerships. For example, we’ve had a relationship with Allen Events Center, now CUTX Event Center for three years now. We have tabletop promo pieces in the suites, which have stood the test of spilled beverages and cleaning products. Our same vinyl clings have also been hanging out in the bleacher area of the Allen Community Ice Rink for the same amount of time.
We are about to replace these items, however only to update our marketing material. These durable products are soooo amazing, we may recycle the metal and acrylic table toppers by decoupaging a printed portrait and giving them out for Christmas.
Please don’t write off the old-school print collateral, which has been made fresh by companies like Sticker Mule (our fave). Stickers were all the craze when I was a kid in the 70s and, like all trends, they've made a comeback. They are a great way to promote your business. Every water bottle and journal dons a sticker collection. See my Sticker Mule beauty on the top right corner of “The Mastery Journal,” where stickers don the inside and outside.
Feel free to share your favorite printed promotional materials, especially those that withstand the test of time.
