When someone takes a passion and starts turning a profit, there’s an unmatched beauty in that business. We at Photography by Misty took our passions for people and photography and developed a business model that not only satisfies our needs but, most importantly, excites our clients.

We take a vested interest in our clients’ families as well as their businesses. Sometimes, we are counselors, therapists, friends, the middle people between our clients and their needs outside of the photography realm, we are shoulders to cry on, secret keepers and everything in between. Why? Because our business developed from our passion for people. 

It is our absolute pleasure to be with our clients on this journey we all call life. Sometimes that path takes a turn for the worse - so many easeled portraits have donned church altars. However, more often than not, the road leads to extended families, bigger business and a plethora of other celebrations.

My friends and clients at Cariloop were the inspiration behind this blog.  We started working on their professional headshots a few years ago, thanks to our mutual Plano Chamber of Commerce memberships.
