Get the Attention Your Tradeshow Booth Deserves
Professional or Funby Misty J Hoyt
owner/lead photographerWhen Photography by Misty spends marketing dollars for a Dallas tradeshow booth, we always say “no thank you” to chairs. How many times have you passed by a booth because you’d feel like you’re bothering the attendants, as their heads are buried in their phones? I know I do or… I may just try to sneakily take one of the giveaways. Afterall, if the company’s not interested in what they have to sell, why would I be interested?
Bright smiles, warm “Hellos,” miniature candy bars and desired swag are great ways to grab the attention of those passing by. But what if you could offer something they couldn’t refuse? Afterall, you have fantastic products and services, but if you can’t get them to stop by, you don’t have the opportunity to introduce them to what you do.
Once at a Grapevine photography event, I gave away a $100 bill to one lucky winner, and we gave $100,000 bars to everyone who stopped by. We had about a 75% success rate. Bring a photobooth like the one used with Elevate Events, and you’re looking at more like getting the attention of 95% of those perusing. Photobooths are great for almost any crowd, from bridal shows in Plano to trade-specific conventions in Frisco.
For career fairs, professional tradeshows and other events where people will be professionally dressed, offering complimentary headshots will make your booth a crowd favorite. What have they got to lose? Everyone needs a headshot, and you can’t beat complimentary. If you don’t go with Photography by Misty’s services, just be sure to ask if your photographer uses professional lighting and a formal backdrop.
What will you do at your next tradeshow, giving attendees something to talk about?
