Exciting people, fantastic places and infectious work environments are all a part of what make my business so darn exciting.
Take for example, the Advancial Tower , where I recently had the opportunity to take Dallas Head Shots of the First United Mortgage Team.
My jaw dropped the moment the security man Mike let me into the office. It was modern, clean and had a dreamy appeal that suddenly made me want to get into the mortgage business (God help us all if that were to ever happen). Most importantly, its view of Downtown Dallas, featuring Reunion Tower and the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge made the ideal backdrop.
Time to get to work, making sure we struck a nice balance between great business portraits and fab background. These ladies, soon to be featured in D Magazine, not only know their business (which is ultimately your business) really well, but they also make talking about mortgages informative, fun and personable. It was short and sweet, and, most importantly, we produced professional results.
After the team left to start making phone calls, closing deals and researching the market for their clients, I stayed to pack up, move the furniture back where I found it and to EXPLORE!! It’s like going on a business trip to take head shots in Houston; I’m going to book some to play. Even though I was merely 20 miles from my home, it was like a mini field trip.
Upon poking around with permission (at least this time), I found an office with an open-air balcony. To look out 10 stories high over Klyde Warren Park was the strawberry (I’m not much on cherries) on this photographic sundae. Great people and great spaces makes for a great day.
